Vintage GEMEINHARDT Model CW Grenadilla Wood Students/Intermediate PICCOLO - $800 - (Waco, TX)

For sale is a vintage Gemeinhardt piccolo. This is a model "CW" piccolo, I believe the model indicates it is a key of C piccolo, in grenadilla wood. I think it is either a students or intermediate model. This piccolo is in good shape with some signs of wear, no cracks or damage. The pads are older but look usable, and all the keys seem to move properly. I do think it needs some minor refurbishing by a professional, but I believe it is in playable condition as it is. This piccolo is serial number #1005, and comes with a hard case. It has a solid grenadilla wood and silver plated body. I believe it dates to the 1970s, and is a local estate find. It appears to be an old school instrument before that. It is a lovely instrument and would be a great addition to any collection!
