ANTIQUE Hobbs 1890’s Opalescent Coin Dot Spot Glass Victorian Kerosene Oil Mantle Lamp With Art Glass Base Featuring Colors Ranging From White / Red Wine / To Pink! We have done some research on this lovely and unique Oil Lamp and we believe it's made by Hobbs Glass Company. It is shown in Catherine Thuro's Oil Lamps 1 Reference Book on page 310. The bell shaped art glass base is similar to the one featured on the page. The collar looks like the Edward Miller & Co., Meriden, Conn shown on page 41 advertised with oval band in the 1890's. This Lamp measures approximately 19" High to the top of the beaded / pearl top chimney and 10" High to the top of the collar. The font has a teeny tiny air bubble pop on the surface that doesn't go clear through the glass or leak and is not noticeable as shown in the above included pictures. The base has minor air bubble pops tiny chips or imperfections. No damage. A new wick is the only thing that you will need. You won't want to miss your chance to bid on it today!
