Conn Silver Plate C Melody Sax - Straight Neck - Front F Excellent Original Condition: Serial # 65185 (Low Pitch) The original finish is virtually all intact, though there is some light wear and tarnish, and some mild scratching, though none of this is very noticeable (see photos). The gold wash in the bell is visible and intact, but it has thinned a bit. The physical condition of the body and bell is excellent with only one or two very small dings, and there is one small dent on the bottom of the bow. There is no sign of any solder repair or other repair work. The horn is not playing at all - the pads appear to be the original ones, and are in need of replacement (along with all sprinds, felts, and cork). The neck is in excellent physical condition with no pull-down bend at all (see photos). The micro tuner on the neck moves easily. Original case is in very good condition and functions well; however the handle is in need of replacement. No mthpc. See all 20 photos below - just click on a photo to see an enlargement.
