The Martin Medalist RMC Alto Saxophone - All Originlal - Lacquer Keys - New Pads The Martin Medalist RMC Alto Saxophone - All Original - Lacquer Keys - New Pads Click images to enlarge Description The Martin Medalist RMC Alto Saxophone: Serial #81241 (key-work is lacquer, not nickel) This has a great sound. All brand new pads - ready to play. The original lacquer finish is 95% intact with only light wear on the touch points and on some of the key-work, and some lacquer pitting on the back of the body-tube (see photos). Before being reassemble and padded, the body was chemically cleaned, which has caused some areas of the finish to discolor and look reddish in color (this is visible in the photos - for example, the upper left body-tube and the mild stripes inside the bell-lip). The body is in very good physical condition, though the body tube is slightly dented at the area of the serial number, and the posts of the low Eb key are slightly pushed in (see photos). There are no signs of any major dent removal or solder repair. The neck is not original, it is a replacement and is in very good condition, no issues. The octave-arm guides (at the top of body-tube are missing - see last photo. No mthpc. No case. (Double boxing will be used for shipping.)
