Restored: Antique,Vintage Westinghouse Floodlight, Spot, Stage, Industrial light - $1,750 - (Freeport, FL)

Up for auction is a restored Westinghouse Floodlight. The name plate reads Style C 11970. We think it is from the 1930's 0r 40's but am not sure. It is very difficult to find any information on these old floodlights. The housing is made from cast aluminum and all of the parts are stamped with their original part numbers. The bolts and and all of the hardware including the lighting element is all original. When we restored it we replaced the old worn out electrical cord with a new one that was wired for 110 volt. The original lighting element has a reducer in it so we could use 110 lighting. the cord is 24 ft long. The glass is in amazing shape with no cracks only some slight scuffs. The port face opens and closes perfectly and this model has a special bracket that allows the port face to remain open when undergoing maintenance. All of the screw and other hardware is brass. The reflector amazingly has no dings and only some very slight pitting. The port face is 22 inches in diameter. The glass is 19 inches in diameter. The unit with the base is 32 inches tall, 19 inches deep and 27 inches wide. It is very heavy and weighs approximately 60lbs. I will have it professionally packed for delivery so it arrives safe. This is a one of a kind item as all of the original parts are included and in great shape not a rust bucket that is missing most of the unique parts so the price reflects this.
