Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE A charming Louis XV period corner cabinet, ca. 1740-1760, with a shaped crest, finely decorated with gilt and raised painted and gilded chinoiserie figures seemingly chasing out farm animals with brooms. Very quaint and evocative. Two shelves on top of the 33" of storage depth inside, closed by two gorgeous and delicate doors. Retains original hinge hardware. Great as a jewelry or perfume box. Measurements: 29.5" (75 cm) high x 18" wide (46 cm) (each side). Front 21" (53 cm) wide x 16" (40 cm) high. Each of the pair of doors is 7" (18 cm) wide x 12"(31 cm) high. It weighs 27 lbs. Purchased from The Gables Antiques (Atlanta, GA). Beautiful antique.
