Vintage Shriners Playing Cards Ararat Temple 1970 Two Sealed Decks CSSA NOS - $20 - (Victor, ID)
This auction is for two (2) "new" sealed decks of cards designed for the Shriner organization. One deck of cards has the Shriner logo and a drawing of a doctor assisting a young lady. This deck is imprinted with the text: ORTHOPEDIC UNITS, ARARAT TEMPLE, C.S.S.A. Session, September 17-18-19, 1970. The second deck also has the Shriner logo and a drawing of a doctor attending to a young boy. This deck is imprinted with the text: BURNS INSTITUTES, ARARAT TEMPLE, C.S.S.A. Session, September 17-18-19, 1970. These cards are in the original sealed package and have not been opened. They appear to be in excellent condition. Please note some "age spots" on the inside of the cardboard card case as well as a few tiny spots on the outside of the cellophane wrapper. The cards rest in a cardboard box and have a sliding cover. The cover has a sample card from each deck mounted on the top. The case is in very good vintage condition. The cards measure approximately 3 1/2" x 2 1/4".
