This is a vintage Columbia Minerva needlepoint 'Christmas Idea Kit #8244 - Poinsettia Napkin Rings & Place Card Holders'. It is dated 1978 and it is sealed, but the package does show wear from many years in storage. The napkin rings are 2" diameter and the place card holders are 4" x 1.5". There are 4 of each to be made. The kit includes fashionease plastic canvas - no blocking to finish, 100% wool and 100% Dacron polyester Persian type yarns, Camelot 75% metallic & 25% rayon yarn, needle, easy to follow instructions with design charts.
