Add Me to Your Favorite Sellers Olivia's Vintage would like to present this rare 1973 Rickenbacker fretless 4001 bass in its original Jetglo finish. It has a good playing neck. It's all original and 100% complete with the exception of the chrome hand rest/pickup cover. It even has its original hardshell case (one broken hinge). This vintage 4001 is in good shape with lots of nicks + dings of which many have been touched up, and other cosmetic wear. There is about 2 inches of seam separation on the back bottom edge, but it remains a cosmetic issue only, as the bass itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work and sound great as it provides an authentic early '70's 4001 bass tone with its original "toaster" pickup in the neck position. All Illinois residents please add 8.75% sales tax.
