1978 Ibanez Musician MC series, original and nice! - $899 - (Mineral Wells, TX)

Here is a desirable, neck-thru Musician model from Ibanez. The guitar dates to 1978. This one has a gold silkscreened logo but I have another ’78 listed that has a pearl logo. This example also has the “sustain block” set into the body under the bridge. The frets show very little wear and the neck feels superb with nice, low action. All controls work as designed and appear to be original. I’m sure this guitar could use a full setup as I have owned it for around 20 years and only brought it out a few times to inspect and show off. There are some dings and scuffs around this guitar but they are difficult to capture with a camera. If you zoom in on picture #10, you can see one of the areas just below the controls. I know there are many avid collectors of this series so if someone requests close ups, I will respond asap. What can I say; it is a vintage workhorse that begs to be played. It’s time for me to pass it on so someone else can appreciate the quality and playability of, in my opinion, one of Hoshino’s most distinctive guitars ever! This guitar lives in a brown shaped case reminiscent of Fender’s “thermometer” case. I believe this is OEM from Ibanez but can’t guarantee it. My stated shipping cost is for the continental US only.
