This listing is for a 3/4 Eastman Strings Rudoulf Doetsch VB701 string bass. Serial # 64502 made in Germany. The listing includes the bass and bag, no bow. This single owner instrument is in very good condition. It has some stains/surface scratches throughout the body. Mainly on the edges. The instrument plays and sounds great. There are marks on the side of the neck for finger placement. For some reason, the strings were put into the incorrect tuning pegs. We don't want to take a chance in breaking the string, so we haven't moved them. The CB50 bag is lightly padded and has lots of extra storage and handles for easier transport. They are then sent to Eastman Strings' workshop, where adjustments are made for optimum tone and playability.Their trademark antique-style spirit varnish is then applied by hand.
