18" Finely Detailed Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase w/ Bamboo and Gold Wire Birds - $5,900 - (Redding, CA)

This a beautiful large Meiji era Japanese cloisonne vase. This were most likely created by Ando or Hayashi Kodenji. This commanding vase stands 18 inches tall and is 10 inches wide and are in excellent condition. This is an extraordinary find because most large vases have some sort of damage. The intense bamboo, flowers, 6 gold wire bluebirds and scroll are done in the Hayashi style. While the birds have gold wires, the remainder of the work is done in several sizes of silver wires. The rims are silver. In person, this vase is far more impressive. Condition is excellent. Buyer pays for all shipping and Insurance.
