4 Antique Vintage High Back Ladder Back Chairs With Rush Seats. I don't know what kind of wood they are. Interesting note: My mother was looking at a book with photos of Lincoln's home, and there were what appeared to be the exact same chairs. They measure 45" from the back to the ground, the back itself is 28" from the top of the seat to the top of the chair. The seats are 15 1/2" deep and 19 1/2" across the front. The top of seat to the bottom of the legs is 17". Good Vintage shape, seats have wear on some but are still sturdy - wood is nice - there is some wear to the finish on the bottom of legs.. One could use a little tightening up of the slats on the back. One has a scratched area on the back. Normal signs of use. Some checking of the varnish.
