These Artesian Crochet Pot Holders are made using 12 separate strands of 100% Cotton Premium Weaving Yarn, so they are double thick to protect your hands. They are made from yarns left from my weaving projects, so no two will be exactly alike. If you ever tried using a pot holder made with a synthetic yarn and have it melt onto your hand and pan, you will really appreciate the cotton ones. They are a large, 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches and a set of 2 color matched as close as possible. I have used these for years - I use what I make and love them - as I am sure you will. They will last for years and are easy to clean, just toss them in the washer with your towels and lay flat to dry.
