Handsome Antique Hand Painted Chair with Cupid Classic style. The chair has a lovely Cupid on back. It has a lovely hand painted Cupid Cherub on the back. In the center of the back of the chair is a vignette scene of a Cupid, detailed carefully, and reminiscent of French tapestries. The fine detailing in muted colors with skillful use of color and engaging composition in this classic scene. The chair has a beautiful aged look and the colors have faded with age only giving it a more distinct beauty. It is an unusual old chair, with tapered legs, and is made of solid wood with a padded silk seat. The chair is in a similar manner to a French style. and display a wonderful aged patina. Size: 37’ x 18” wide x 18” deep N/A 3-09 room 3 Condition: The frame is sturdy with some wear typical of the age. It is in good condition with only minor flaws and wear with this type of antique. There is some fading on the painting, but with no major cracks, or repairs.
