Vintage Mid-Century CEPELIA Handwoven Polish Tapestry Kilim by Piotr Grabowski Please read the descriptions carefully, and reference all images for inspection of condition and description verification. We found this beautiful vintage Cepelia handwoven kilim in my late in-law’s belongings while clearing the family home. They were likely the original owners. It is titled, 'Zwierzatka,' which translates to ‘Animals’. It is our belief that the alphanumeric KL-4-67 on the tag may include the date it was woven. This can be displayed as a wall hanging if preferred to using as a rug. This highly collectible tapestry made in Poland, was designed by Piotr Grabowski, and weaved by J. Mucha, and B. RuskiewiczIt. It contains 90% wool and 10% flax. The kilim's original tag has a handwritten size of 30 x 43 inches. We measured it at approximately 30 x 45 inches including the fringe. The tag glue weakened due to age, so we gently secured it with masking tape as a temporarily solution. It should not cause any damage if removed carefully. The kilim was never used on the floor, and appears to be in fine condition. However, it was stored for many years and collected dust, so it will need to be cleaned. We are leaving the kilim in the condition it was found, as to not chance causing damage to the tapestry. Return Policy: This item is being sold AS-IS.
