Mid Century EUROPEAN Oil on Canvas CHURCHSCAPE Painting SIGNED "KO" Period Frame - $295 - (Greensboro, NC)

I believe this church scape is done in oils and that it is from Europe based upon the content, but done by a Japanese artist!! I am guessing it dates from the 1950's or 60's!! The name stamped on the back of the canvas (which I believe reads FUNAOKA) is a Japanese manufacturer!! The painting is in MINT condition with no damage to the canvas and it is initialed on the lower right "KO"!! There is a listed artist from Japan that signed paintings in this manner, BUT I am not expert enough to know if this is the same artist!! From my online research, I believe it is based upon my amateur signature comparison!! The wooden frame is solid with very minor wear to the finish mostly on the corners!! Approx. 23.25" X 19.75" overall, and the painting is 15.5" X 12" within the frame!!
