There’s some known history with this one and the others I just purchased in a local estate. The last founding family member of our local bank’s family recently passed in his upper 90’s. His Parents and Grandparents owned the local bank from the beginning. These Cuspidors were from the lobby and offices of the bank. These weren’t decorations, they were working furniture from a bygone era in this country’s history. This is the only one quite like this that I found. It measures approx, 11 1/2 inches tall and about 8 3/8 inches at the opening. This one feels like it has a sand filled bottom for stability. Cuspidor wears scars and dents and dings from a century of service. Just look at the pictures for condition answers. The item you see in the photos is the actual one you are purchasing.
