Two Vintage My Friend Fisher-Price Dolls - Mikey and Becky - $40 - (Winnipeg, MB)
The Fisher-Price My Friend series of dolls began in 1977. All the dolls in this series were 16 inches tall and had cloth bodies with a vinyl head and limbs and rooted hair. These two vintage dolls are two of the harder ones to find. Mikey was the only boy doll produced. He was made in 1982. He has brown rooted hair, blue painted eyes and freckles. This doll has blue marks all over his face. Looks like he has blue measles. He is marked on the back of his neck 4443 1 33631 Fisher Price Toys 1981. He also has his original tag attached to his body which reads Fisher-Price Toys Division of the Quaker Oats Co. East Aurora N.Y. Copyright 1981 205. His body is a solid color no floral pattern as some of the other dolls in this series have. He has some light overall soiling. He is wearing his original clothes. He has a red and white striped shirt with a white collar. He has blue pants with a white and blue belt. He has a light blue jacket with the FP logo on the front. He is wearing blue shoes but they are not original to the doll. Becky was also introduced in 1982. She has beautiful red hair, blue painted eyes and freckles. She has a dimple on her left cheek. She has a cheek rub on the right cheek. She has the yellow rosebud body. She is marked on the back of her neck 22 93340 Fisher-Price-Toys Copyright 1981. She still has her original tag attached to her body. It reads Fisher-Price Toys Division of the Quaker Oats Co. East Aurora N.Y. Copyright 1981 218. She is wearing her original green dress with a white and pink flowered apron. She also has her original white leotards/tights. She is wearing black shoes but they are not original to her.
