Nice Vintage Italian Toleware Florentine Wood Tray w/Handles 17.25"x12" - $19 - (Aiken, SC)

This is a beautiful vintage Italian wood tray. It is in the traditional florentine gold colors with cream accents. Very nice condition with no damage found other than some slight wear to the finish here and there. On the top I notice some areas where the gilt is darker and this is shown in the photos. There are two lines that I can see when I hold it an angle where it looks like a slice in the surface, but I am can't tell for certain. Whatever it is, only the surface is affected and does not go through to the bottom. The finish on these trays have so many variations in color that sometimes it is hard to distinguish if something is part of the design or perhaps something else. Regardless, the tray is very secure and I only noticed this because we always look our items over very carefully to ensure we give an accurate description. Measures approximately 17.25"x12".
