Geppetto Creating Pinocchio Courvoisier Print - $180 - (Hackettstown, NJ)

This is an original print from the Courvorsier Galleries c.1940. It depicts Geppetto creating Pinocchio in his woodshop. Also pictured are Figaro and Cleo. According to Tomart’s Illustrated Disneyana Catalog and Price Guide, this was one of the first art prints released by the Courvorsier Galleries. It is copyrighted W.D.P. in the lower left corner. It has the original glass and white wood frame. There are some age spots on the matting and the upper left corner of the frame is slightly loose. The gummed paper on the back which holds the cardboard backing to the wood frame is peeling with age in places. Otherwise it is in very good condition. Please email with any questions.
