Offered for sale is a beautiful woven tapestry of a bridge in a forest landscape. This tapestry was woven in France in the late 1990's and measures H 35" x W 45". The label on the back is in French and says the subject is "La Foret de Marly" or The Forest of Marly, which was historically ,the hunting estate of the kings of France, then of the presidents of the Republic. The pictures show the beautiful detailed weavings and colors-cream, green and browns. It is lined and has a rod pocket at the top.
