You are looking at a wonderful pastel(totally) view of the Flower market on the Champs Elysee in Paris--it is signed Bonker or Barket (You be the judge--I could not decifer the difference but it is signed at any rate)--While the painting is an impressioinistic looki and feel for the flower market and the Paris street scene--it also has a sort of Seurat look to it--pointillism or something like that...In the right spor this could be dynamite--the frame is also well suited to dthe painting if you like that much pastel--the painting would change entirely if the frame were changed--so I feel...Holler if you have any questions as I am home much of the time now as I am not teaching this semester..Thanks for looking--hope it is what y ou were/are looking for...Thanks again...
