This listing is for a framed JJ Audubon print. No. 63, Pl 313 "Whooping Crane". Title- Whooping Crane, Male, Adult Drawn from nature by J.J. Audubon F.R.S.F.L.S. (Fellow, Royal Society. Fellow, Linnean Society) Lith Printed and Colored by J.T. Bowen, Philad. Frame is about 16 1/8" tall x 12 5/8" wide Print window (the opening in the matte board) is about 9" x 5 1/2" Just the rectangle print portion of the crane (not including text) is about 7 1/4" x 4 3/4" Actual sheet size is unknown. The sky coloring on this print is a muted, more "stormy" than later reprints. Bottom font is slanted/ italicized. Close up is under 10X magnification. Selling as is. Great used condition with some slight wear on frame. Shipping will include signature confirmation and insurance.
