Monogram Pikes Peak Midget Racer Kurtis Racing Special Slot Car #19 - $170 - (Manistique, MI)
This is my Pikes Peak IHC Midget Racer outfitted with a vintage Pittman 12v Motor, Atlas beveled brass gears, light weight wheels & axles with new tires. Bolt on deep pickup guide with new braids finish off the mechanics of this wonderful slot car.Cosmetically it is running a beautifully detailed V-8 with steel spark plug fittings and real insulated wires leading to a fabricated distributor. On the opposite side there are dual carbs with steel & brass piping running to two chromed air filter covers making this engine look extremely authentic. Moving towards the driver’s seat there is a detailed steering wheel, instrument panel, manual pump and shift lever as well as a step bar that integrates into the rear bumper bar. This car also includes custom decals and accented wheels to match the trim on the body; all said and done this is a great slot car to start with or add to any collection.
