ORIGINAL, complete 1957 Pacific Far East Line, Inc. wall calendar, great shape! - $35 - (Lansdowne, PA)

We have here an unusual advertising item from 1957. It is a Pacific Far East Line, Inc. wall calendar, with 12 pages, one for each month, each with a different photograph from somewhere in Asia. The calendar was definitely used, as the prior owner did mark a couple of dates on the calendar in ink (on March, and on December, although the other months are unmarked). Not perfect, but in pretty fantastic shape when you consider that this was meant to hang on the wall and then be tossed out, it was made of paper, and it is over 55 years old! According to some research I did on the net, Pacific Far East Line, Inc., called "Route of the Bears" was a shipping line of some sort, offering both passenger service and cargo service, based out of San Francisco, California, with offices and agents throughout the world. I have posted photos of four of the pages, the cover month (January), along with 3 others. The fifth photo is of the rear of the calendar. There can't be too many of these out there in presentable shape anymore, but I'll leave that up to the bidders to decide. Starting this at what I think would be a reasonable amount for pinup art so old, with NO reserve, and I'm listing $9.00 as the shipping, although I know it will cost more, since I plan on shipping this flat, and not rolling it up again and risking damage (it was found rolled up, and I laid it flat where it could sit for a few months to relax back to fully flat). Measures approximately 26 1/2 inches high by 16 3/4 inches wide.
