Peter Playpal Doll Original Clothes 38" Made by Ideal Toy Company 1960-1961 - $650 - (Newburyport, MA)
Peter Playpal from the Patti Playpal family of dolls by Ideal. Peter is 38" tall. Peter Playpal is from 1960-1961. He is wearing his original clothes including his jacket, shorts with belt, white shirt with his name on the front, shoes, and hat. I think his red socks have been replaced, though they are vintage socks. He has been wearing them for the 25 years plus that he has been here with me. Peter's face color is gorgeous. It is so nice and bright and his eyes are still clear. His hair is beautiful and thick and has not been cut. He is in excellent vintage condition. He is a vintage doll so he is not perfect. He may have a bit of dust from standing on display for many years. His stringing seems to be tight enough without being too tight. His head turns and his arms and legs work properly. One of his arms has faded, but this seems to be very common with these dolls. Please see all pictures and ask me any questions you may have. This item is from a smoke free home. Also included is the patchwork sport coat and navy blue pants that I also liked to dress him in. See picture above.
