It has a porcelain dial 2 3/4 inches in diameter with arabic numerals, even with a subsidiary secongs hand, and is skeletonized inside the dial. If you look at the central column of the clock, you will see within it a coil spring, like in your sleeping bed. It is coiled and when the clock is wound the spring is tightened, and during the time while the clock is running, it becomes less coiled up. It also has a chain on the top of the fusee movement.
