NICE MID CENTURY LIBRARY CARD CATALOG 60 DRAWER CABINET WITH DOVETAIL CONSTRUCTION I purchased this from Howard University out of Washington, D.C. years ago when they sold all of their catalog cabinets and updated to all newer technology. Later to fit my wife's decor I painted it Satin black. I restore and refinish antiques. Now I know why I have never seen one painted. This was a very TEDIOUS and time consuming job. To do it right anyway. Every drawer was removed and all its hardware. Then sanded and primed and sprayed satin black. Then all hardware was replaced back on. The Satin black looks great with all the original brass hardware. It is in excellent shape. There are 60 drawers total. Also has three pull out shelves which I painted the tips to blend in with the cabinet when they are closed and not in use. MEASURES "41 long, "17 wide and stands "60 tall.
