Beautiful ready to hang stained solid wooden plaque of Canadian Pine with 4 hand carved ocean sea creatures ceramic tiles. The perfect gift for that hard to please person! Can be hung on a wall (strong metal hook installed on the back of the plaque) or put upon an easel. Wooden plaque measures 9" x 10" and is 3/4" thick ( 23.5cm x 25.5cm x 19mm). The tiles measure 7-1/4" x 7-1/4" (18cm x 18cm). I created these 4 ceramic tiles from hand rolled clay, cut the tiles by hand, air dried for several days, then carved each one with a variation of sea creatures and fired them at 1600F. I then glazed the tiles one by one with a combination of 4 different glazes and fired them once again. **Each tile affixed to the plaque is distinct in having slight variations in thickness/diameter/size and smoothness due to being hand rolled and cut by hand (no molds used). They are similar in size, but not perfect copies of each other. Only one set exists, what you see in the photo is what you will receive.
