Antique A.H. Andrews Four Twisted Steel Chairs c.1889 - $695 - (Montgomery, AL)

Alfred Hinsdale Andrews (A. H. Andrews) c. 1889-1894, who first produced and marketed the twisted steel wire furniture as catalog illustrates. Twisted wire chairs are common to find. Whoever, it’s really rare to find one with original wood and stamped on the bottom. Only Two of the chairs offered here are stamped see photo.The other two are wood but are not stamped. Very interesting history of A.H. Andrews and his Company. Measures: 34" tall x 14.5" wide. Seat height 18.25".
