The Gates STA-Level utilizing a Drip Electronics PCB and amazing 6 speed recovery time mod. This recovery mod makes this compressor SO much more useful on countless sources! The original Gates time constants are included plus 4 more increasingly faster times for incredible variety. - All the tubes or replaced within the last year including a hand selected NOS 6386, valuing over $400. - Input and output XLR’s each have their own ground lift switch. - Input/output transformers are both imported Sowter transformers and are the truest to the original circuit that you can find. - Potentiometer on the back is the 6v6 cathode balance adjustment. - Top notch capacitors and custom ordered and upgraded VU meter. Much fatter and more character than the Retro Instruments. Last one of these to sell was $2800. Pricing this one to move No returns but promised to be as described.
