An unusually large, supremely high quality mourning ring in lovely condition - Memorializes the death of a bachelor (white enameling was used for children and unmarried souls) with the words " James.Pearson.Ob.26.Mar.1804.AE34." written in gold on the black and white enameled band. This is a substantial ring in a US size 7. Absolutely no condition problems in excellent condition for it's age....over 200 years old! Plaited hair of the dearly departed behind crystal set into a gold bezel. Pictures tell the story but don’t do the ring justice. Weighs 5 grams. This is a stunner!!!
