It features a sturdy wooden A frame that opens and has a nylon tent like hideout/ bed with a soft cozy material at the bottom. The 2 wooden sides each have a scratching pad. The nylon bed can be removed for washing, as it is fastened with velcro. The cat house folds up for travel and storage and has a convenient carry handle at the top. Folded up, it measures 17" tall x 12" wide x 1 1/2".
