Outstanding Mid Mod Drexel Declaration Captain's Chair - $795 - (Morganton, NC)

This iconic Mid century Modern Declaration Collection chair reached it's style zenith when it was developed by Stewart & MacDougal for Drexel in the 50's. Found in an antique store in Western NC, the chair is in excellent condition. I recovered the seat cushion in an updated but true to time frame grey, black and brown tweed fabric. Dimensions are: 23 3/4" x 22 3/4" x 30"Ht. Inside arms: 20 1/4" x 17"D. x 17 1/2" Seat Ht. Every walnut cattail spoke, bentwood and angular member is firmly seated.
