Each zone can be controlled using the Kaleidescape control protocol over IP or RS-232, the browser interface from a PC or Mac, or the onscreen display from any Kaleidescape movie player. The control protocol also includes commands for accessing detailed information about albums, songs and artists. This protocol can be used with touch panels and wall-mounted keypads to enjoy music throughout the home. The Kaleidescape Music Player can also be used to import CDs and DVDs into the Kaleidescape System. Simply insert a CD or DVD and its contents will be automatically imported.
