The front of the box has indicator lights for power, remote control commands, downloading data, and recording shows. The front also has a button to change the video output format. The back of the box has two coaxial inputs for cable and an off-air antenna (both split internally for dual-tuning). It also has outputs for composite (video and left/right audio), component, and HDMI video. It also has an output for Toslink Digital Optical. There is also an ethernet (RJ-45) port, two USB ports, an eSATA port, and a power port. And there's a slot to use with a CableCARD from your cable TV provider.
