Estate find - Either a Curt Teich salesman reference set or a master set assembled by a collector. Please write for details - The Colorado code numbers run from 2000 to 2399, Sanborn Souvenir Co listed as the distributor, and appear to be complete, with numerous duplicates and variants. Often there are two different views for the same number. I can break this up into regions of Colorado if it overwhelms you, or you can ask about a specific postcard and I can list it separately. Many, but certainly not all, code numbers have numerous duplicates, often as many as 10. Condition ranges from brand new with perfect corners to good but with worn corners. None of the 2000+ postcards have been mailed, but some have other numbers or pencil notations written on the back. The vast majority of the fronts of the postcards are pristine with no fading or surface wear, but there are some minor color variations when 10 or more postcards of the same view are compared, Pick up only. If you are serious about this, you will probably need to examine it in person to see if it is worth the price. I think it is worth way more, but you should decide for yourself. I have thus far counted over 2000 postcards, so the buy it now price averages out to 50 cents per postcard. Please note once again: Local pick up only. Do not bid if you are housebound. I am fairly certain you will be satisfied, but you need to examine these in person or ask questions before buying. I am happy to provide additional photographs. Addendum: I just came across and added Colorado Springs linens numbered 1976 to 1999, another 28 total postcards when duplicates and variants are counted. So now the master set runs from inventory/code numbers 1976 to 2399.
