you would be hard pressed finding a nicer one around. this beautiful retro heavy weight has graced my system and my ears for the last 20+ years. I think I am the second owner but not totally sure. the chassis is a 9 out of 10 with almost impeccable chrome except for the tiniest amount of oxidation barely visible along the edge of the chrome and a couple of small scuff marks on the autoformer and the railing. the glass is flawless and everything works. as a bonus I am throwing in a custom big speaker cable adaptor worth $300. now you can connect your big speaker cables where as not possible because of original tiny binders. this amp has been the anchor (literally and metaphorically) in my setup. in the latter years it served in a bi-amp set-up, where it powered the sub-woofer section of my speakers. the sound is very much like a big tube amp with a warm top-end and very bottom heavy rolling thunder. this amp is definitely a site to behold and I am already having separation anxiety about letting it go. it is truly beautiful with the mesmerizing blue dials glowing at night in your system. unfortunately my loss is someone else’s gain. I have no doubt this amp could continue and serve another 20 or even 40 more years in a new caring home. I am including the factory manual and the factory double box which is very well insulated and suitable for shipping worldwide. I am also including the cost of shipping plus insurance to the lower 48 but if you are outside of this area I would be happy to split the difference with you. the old adage “they don’t build them like they use to” is definitely true here and that’s why these amps are one of the few electronics gear that have appreciated in price.
