Jewelers' Buyers Guide 1954 - $38 - (Pottstown, PA)
Very hard to find publication, Jewelers' Buyers Guide, describes itself as the "Source Encyclopedia of the Jewelry Industry." This edition is copyrighted 1953 for the 1954 calendar year. Please see the photo of the Table of Contents for a description of this guide and its contents. There is also a photo of an insert entitled, "Where Do You Find It?" to help you locate specific items within the book. What I found most fascinating were the many ads for jewelry, watches, flatware, silverware, and many other items available in the early 1950's. This is a great book for the jewelry or advertising collector. The book is in very good shape for it's age with 976 pages. The binding is secure and all pages are intact. This is a hard bound book with no dust cover. There is minor scuffing on the covers and spine. I could find only one page with any damage, the last one, where there is some paper loss at the top of the page. The book measures approximately 9" by 6".
