Vintage Traditional Style Japanese Professional Grade Bonsai Shears Scissors - $40 - (Custer, SD)

We acquired these Japanese bonsai shears from an estate auction in the Midwest. They are in excellent vintage condition. They have been used and have the typical signs of wear on the blades. The blades have a perfect closure tension. The overall length of the shears measures approximately 7 inches. The blade length measures approximately 2 1/2 inches. The shears are made of black metal. These shears have an inscription on the outside plane of each blade. One blade has a beautiful scenery type inscription, while the other appears to have Japanese wording. Sorry, we are not able to translate! If anyone out there in eBay land can decode for us, we would love to know...it just may be the meaning of life we have all been looking for!
