Antique Vintage Huge Silver Tribal Pendant HMONG Hill Spear Head -w- Rabbits ! - $275 - (West Falls, NY)
A very dynamic & interesting, estate find ! An antique / vintage...Large...Impressive...authentic silver ( not sure of silver percentage content )...Hmong tribal pendant: in the form of an arrow / spearhead...having a multiple swirl design on pendant top and inner spearhead form. Wire is worked between swirls and targeted areas. Running rabbits are noted on both sides of pendant ( I believe these represent good luck / fortune !!! These rabbit designs appear to be lightly etched, but under loop, punched work can be seen on each side. Rattail like link for chain ( No chain present ), is centered between upper 3 swirls. Large pendant measures approx. 6" high from top of link to bottom of pendant x 3.5" wide. Thickness is approx. 1/4". It weighs approx. 133 grams. This is a very neat pendant and would be appreciated by any lovers of tribal or modernist jewelry enthusiasts !!! Talk about RUNWAY Jewelry !!!
