Antique Afghan, Antique Vintage Silver Enamel Engraved, & Moon Beads Necklace - $241 - (Honolulu, HI)
The center of this necklace is an antique handmade hollow large silver bicone from Afghanistan. It has carved and repousse (raised) designs all around. It weighs about 10 gms by itself, and it is about 51 x 25 mm in size. In the necklace are two rare antique medieval carved silver beads, six contemporary silver enameled cloisonné beads in purple and blue with raised wire flowers, and two rare vintage enamel and engraved beads about 17 x 15 mm. There are also some silver daisy spacers and some vintage (1960's) silver alloy handmade embossed afghan small tube beads about 7 x 5 mm in between the larger beads. The rest of the 17 3/4” necklace is composed of vintage moon beads, which are opalescent and wound glass trade beads. THE FINE PRINT Thank you for looking at my items!
