ORIGINAL 1987 Hanes Fitting Pretty Queen Size Nylons Pantyhose Print Ad - $10 - (Cushing, ME)

We took one look at this great 1987 fancy-pattern pantyhose ad and got the song "Lady in Red" by Chris De Burgh in our heads. It's no surprise that the song was released the year prior. But we digress. It's one complex and eye-catching ad at first, then there's a bunch of delightfully weird. Great colors and outfit and nylons, but is that marble in the background? Cobwebs? And why is there a contorted lady standing behind her? Ah, okay it's her reflection in a marble wall. That makes perfect sense ;) We rescued the ad from a 1987 healthy recipes magazine and trimmed away the staple edge. As most older ads do, it has a few light ripples from storage and page turning but you have to squint to see it looking head on. It looks fantastic and it's all set for you to mount, frame, use in your crafting or throw in an acrylic frame or magnet back and decorate your fridge, quirky retro den or wherever you keep your red shoes (stop us before we ramble about Elvis Costello). ;) 11" X 8" We ship between cardboard and in poly mailers.
