Vintage Scuba underwater aluminum camera housing Alfamar CAMERA inside bluestar - $620 - (Cincinnati, OH)

This camera made in Italy by Subcenter Milano. His aluminium housing has a very simple 35mm camera fixed inside but capable to reaching a depth of 100m! From the outside is possible to actuate the shutter, diaphragm, focus and obturation speed (/1/30, 1/250, B). Lens not interchangeable: 50mm , f/ 2,8 - 22. Minimum focus distance: 1m. Strobe syncro like Nikonos III. This housing can accept also some Nikonos accesories (strobes, closeup lenses, etc.). Not many survived. This is a very rare camera and housing.The Alfamar was relatively cheap (216.000 italian Lira in 1979) and for some divers was an affordable alternative to the more expensive Nikonos III.
