If you are not, we will REFUND your money.------------------A vivid, stunning quilt top from the 1930's!Size - 60" x 82"There is a 9" x 9" quilt block in the center in the Premo Star pattern, Identification of this pattern can be attributed to Clara Stone in her 1906 book: "Practical Needlework: Quilt Patterns". The block has a star in 30's floral print fabric - royal blue, orange, deep red, cream & a calico background - white w/tiny black flowers.The rest of the quilt is in the Hairpin Catcher pattern. This pattern is attributed to Carrie Hall & Ruth Kretsinger in their 1935 book: "The Romance of the Patchwork Quilt in America". It consists of many small squares - each 2-1/4" x 2-1/4". Lots of Art Deco prints, some calicoes, solids, stripes & plaids. Multi-color.The quilt top also has 2 wide borders on either side -7" wide - navy w/a tiny floral print.Machine-stitched.Condition - overall very good. There is 1 ripped small square - otherwise very good.SALE22Aug18
