This is a Vintage 8 String SUPERTONE Banjo Mandolin No. 446 from the 1920-30s. It was made for Supertone (Sears Roebuck & Co.) by either SS Stewart, or Lyon & Healey. This is a rare beautiful instrument and makes for a great conversation piece. Needs a little tender loving care if you intend to play it. The Banjo Mandolin was made for a rich full tone.
