DESCRIPTION: Antique New England Glass scramble paperweight. A fascinating little weight with good color and form. There may be a tiny dated cog inside the bottom, not certain, too small. Concave polished base with un-polished pontil. The glass is very clear, the dome top needs polishing. MARKS: none, catalog sticker on base APPROX. MEASUREMENTS: about 2 9/16" diam. x 1 11/16" high WEIGHT: 11.9 oz. CONDITION: Antique, dome top with surface scratches, some polishing should clear this up, body with surface wear, tiny flea bites, a shallow flake (see photo), base with wear consistent with age and use.
