Dated 1940, it's a fabulous catalog for the late, great Oahu Publishing Company of Cleveland, Ohio. Back then, Oahu was one of the kingpins of the Hawaiian music craze. It offered a special deal of guitar, sheet music, and a live teacher. It had little Hawaiian music schools all over the countryside. In auctions around Ohio, I find old Oahu guitars and stacks of music like this routinely. This catalog is 48 pages and chock full of guitars, amps, ukuleles, picks, slide bars and all kinds of stuff. Oahu was fabulous at merchandising. Once somebody bought a guitar, Oahu had all kinds of other stuff to sell too. This catalog is in good vintage used condition and is a fascinating glimpse into the heyday of a long-gone American guitar company.
