Antique RARE Rautendelein Small Pocket Watch~Gold Filled-German Silver~Runs! - $100 - (Alpena, MI)

This little beauty is a very rare antique Rautendelein German pocket watch. Measures only about 1 1/4" diameter could also be a ladies watch. It has very fancy and delicate hands with Roman Numerals. The case is 800 German silver with rolled rose gold accents around the face, on the back and stem. I tried to find out something about the maker, but really could not find a single thing. It has a double open case, I did get the back open but was afraid to open the front. It does need cleaning under the crystal. It is a good running watch and seemed to keep good time. It wouldn't start running until I had set the time and then would run until run down. If I wound it, it wouldn't start again until I again set the correct time. Super nice rare and beautiful watch, just needs a little cleaning! Thanks for looking!
